You could say that just like in a good action movie, I have left 'blood, sweat and tears' on the road during my career as a cyclist. I rode over half a million kilometres, more than 2000 days racing (11 Tours, 11 Vueltas and two Giros), 21 years as a cyclist, (13 as a pro) are significant pieces of data if you bear in mind the sacrifice this sport requires. Thanks to my good health and a career relatively free of major illnesses or important injuries, I was able to do this.

I can't say I have won a lot of races, probably because I always preferred an aggressive racing style which sometimes prevents you from winning a great deal. But I can say I enjoyed myself as a cyclist. I imagine racing as a spectacle, where there are ambushes and unconventional tactics, more than one where the result is all that counts. In any case, for people who like number-crunching, here are my personal data:
